With Flowdrill flow drilling and thread forming technology, you can create highly resilient threads in thin-walled tubes and sheets – without weld nuts or rivet nuts. The material is plastically deformed by frictional heat and drawn into a stable bushing. The length of this bushing can be about 3 to 5 times the original material thickness. Subsequently, the thread is formed chiplessly and not cut. The result is durable, precise, and long-lasting threads with high pull-out strength.
